Intro to Photoshop Elements w/ Peter Zay (Autumn 2013)

Description

Adobe Photoshop Elements is a great tool for photographers who want to learn how to edit their images. In this class, students will explore the purpose of each tool and how to approach basic image manipulations, with particular emphasis on the image enhancement modules and adjustments.  These tools will allow you to remove unwanted material, brighten particular areas, and improve the overall image quality. Class demonstrations will include cloning, cropping for print, dodging and burning, selecting, and image types. We will also introduce the features of Adobe Bridge which will allow students to tag, rate and catalogue their photos.Students who do not currently own the program may use The Light Factory's iMacs during the class. Students are also welcome to bring in their Mac or PC laptop.
