You may reserve vendor booths as an option under general admission.  There is no separate registration system for vendors, but it is part of general registration.  


We strongly encourage all participants to register online using the above link.   It is simple, complete and secure.  This system can handle registrations if you are paying with credit card , if you wish to mail payment or if you plan to pay at the door.  If you will be paying by  check MWCA will send an invoice to the email address you supply.   If you would prefer to mail in your registration, please download and complete a registration form.   Those registering and receiving the discounted MWCA membership rate, must be a member on January 15th, the first day of the conference.  NOTE:  One day admission includes lunch, if you intend to stay for the evening activities a banquet ticket must be purchased separately.


Membership is NOT included with your conference admission.    You must be a member of MWCA on January 15th qualify for the discounted member rate.   You may purchase or renew your membership at the end of the registration process by clicking on the cart before you pay.   If you have any questions about membership please contact Diana.

Conference Information:

MWCA annual educational conference is the state's most comprehensive training and educational event devoted to noxious weed management  held annually in January.

This year's focus is a regional view of weeds, "Past, Present & Future of Weed Management."     Download a copy of the draft agenda.

 We will be applying for certification credits for attending the conference from both Montana and Idaho. Due to changes in the Montana process the credits you earn will be directily related to the sessions you attend.   You may earn up to six credits on a single day.  More information will follow as it becomes available.


Montana Credits: We have been approved for six(6) credits in the following categories:

(10) Dealer
(30) Agricultural Plant Pest Control
(34) Ornamental and Turf
(36) Aquatic Pest
(39) Demonstration & Research Pest Control
(37) Right of Way, Rangeland, Pasture, and Noncrop Pest
(55) Regulatory Weed

Idaho Credits: We have been approved for six(6) credits.

Private Applicator Credits: We have been approved for up to five (5) credits

Certified Crop Advisor (CCA): Self reporting


The Olympiad is back again this year is the great social mixer, team building event.  It will be held Tuesday, January 14th at 6:30 pm.   The events have changed this year and they will be much less physical and have much more weed knowledge involved.     Get a team together and register.  A list of the games will be published before the event so you can brush up your skills.

Conference Location:

The conference is held at the Heritage Inn in Great Falls.

Cancelation Policy

Cancelations should be directed to our registration coordinator: Diana Ericson office: (406) 782-1854 or Diana.ericson@mtweed.org.

Cancelations/Changes and Refunds:  Registration fees will be refunded in full if cancelation is received prior to December 16, 2012.   After December 16th,  25% of the registration fee will be retained to cover MWCA’s costs.   After January 15, 2013, NO refunds will be given for cancelations. Substitutions are allowed at no charge.  Registered attendees who do not attend the conference but have not submitted a cancelation request will be invoiced for the whole registration fee. No refunds or adjustments to fees will be made for late arrivals, early departures or missed meals.
