Sharon Bowman’s 2012 professional development workshop
Using Brain Science to Make Training Stick!
Noxious weeds are not a glamorous or memorable topic for most people, and for those of us trying to educate the public about weeds, we often find it difficult to compete against many other environmental topics. The MWCA and MDA are excited to bring back to Montana, a very talented facilitator, Sharon Bowman. This professional training is not limited to weed managers, but is open to anyone who wishes to be more effective at presenting. For non-weed professionals, it will be a one day workshop and for weed professionals, we will spend an extra half a day applying the principles in this training to the Fight Five educational campaign.
