Farmer in Training: Session 4

Journey through time as we examine the many ways the land, now known as Newton Community Farm, may have been used. Learn about foraging, and how Native American communities such as the Wampanoag would have worked with the land.  Experience some of their foods, culture, traditions, games, tools and crafts before taking a glimpse into the last 300 years, imagining life as a new settler or immigrant working the soil in their own unique ways…. horses and all! Delicious farm inspired snacks provided daily, kids to bring lunch each day.
