Join us in the barn kitchen to learn several different styles of pickle-making including half-sours, old-world lacto-fermented pickles, and bread and butter pickles. Recipes provided.

Dan grew up eating pickles every day among his eastern european Jewish family. This is his fourth season growing cucumbers at Newton Community Farm. He also works as policy director for the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Massachusetts.
