Little Diggers: Session 4

Get dirty, have fun and be prepared to be amazed by what you uncover in our Little Diggers program. Each session has its own unique farm based theme to develop curiosity, and foster a deeper connection with the natural world.  Daily activities include: digging, planting weeding; harvesting produce for scrumptious snacks, and setting up and managing a farm stand. It’s the perfect recipe for summer fun. Children are to bring lunch each day.

Session 4 - Cycles are everywhere in the natural world, so how many do you think we can identify at Newton Community Farm?  Take a closer look at the water cycle in action, the life cycles of a bean plant and some of our creature friends. What about our compost pile? Is that another example of a cycle? Spin your way through this fun packed week.
