Little Diggers: Session 2

Get dirty, have fun and be prepared to be amazed by what you uncover in our Little Diggers program. Each session has its own unique farm-based theme to develop curiosity, and foster a deeper connection with the natural world. Daily activities include: digging, planting, weeding; harvesting produce for scrumptious snacks, and setting up and managing a farm stand. Plant, bring home, and care for your choice of seed. It’s the perfect recipe for summer fun.

Session 2:  Budding botanists, pull out your hand lens and take an in-depth look at the amazing world of plants. Each day we will study a different part of the plant; conduct experiments to learn about each part’s role, draw in our botany journals before we munch down on tasty examples.
