Tuesday, August 22, 2023 Storytime: Chickens at the Farm!

10:30–11:30 am outside weather-permitting, otherwise in the big red barn

Free and open to all. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. (This is not a drop-off program.)

Pre-registration required.

Street parking available. (Please do not park in the farm driveway.)

Safety

Newton Community Farm is a working farm and a busy place with equipment, animals, and honeybees onsite. Please note that this is an outdoor program. For your child to have a great time, we ask that your child wear comfortable play clothes and closed-toe shoes, dress appropriately for the weather (jacket if it is chilly, boots if it is muddy, etc.), bring a water bottle with their name on it for water breaks, and wear sunscreen and/or bug spray applied at home. We advise that you do a tick check after time on the Farm.

Masks are optional while at the Farm except for those in days 6-10 after a positive Covid-19 test who must wear masks. Please do not visit the Farm if you have tested positive for Covid within the past 5 days, been told to quarantine or isolate by a health professional, or if you feel unwell. 

Newton Community Farm reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule a program if necessary.
