A Summer Cooking Party

Does your family have a CSA with Newton Community Farm? Then you will know that cooking from your CSA can be an adventure!  We are putting a shout out to ambitious, adventurous kid cooks, aged 8-18, to join us, and our friends from Kids Cooking Green,  in the kitchen for an end of summer Cooking Party.

How will this work?

Collect your CSA share on Wednesday August 26^th . Bring your grown up or have them join you later, and head straight upstairs to the barn kitchen. Using some of the produce fresh from your share you will whip up an amazing local dinner and dessert. Voila a delicious dinner is served for you and (1) family member.

Cooking Lesson is from 4:30-6:30

Dinner is served from 6:30-7:30

Current Newton Community  Farm CSA members

Cost: $ 65.  per child

Includes:

• 2hr cooking class

• Dinner for your child, and (1) family member

• Additional family members may join us for dinner, at 6:30, for a fee of $8. per guest and with prior approval of the instructor! To register additional guests please contact Alison directly at education@newtoncommunityfarm.org

• Kids will go home with unused items from their CSA share, and all dinner recipes!

Non Newton Community Farm CSA member

Want to join us but are not a current CSA member? No worries for an additional $25 we will provide the produce that you will be cooking with.

Cost $90. per child for non CSA members

 Includes:

• 2hr cooking class

• Dinner for your child, and (1) family member

• Additional family members may join us for dinner, at 6:30, for a fee of $8. per guest and with prior approval of the instructor! To register additional guests please contact Alison directly at education@newtoncommunityfarm.org

• Kids will go home with all dinner recipes

Pre-registration is required for all of our programs.
