Nibbles N' Knowledge: Tapping Those Trees-Maple Syruping by Licia Johnson and Ron Krueger

'Tis the season for that sweet sap to start flowing from maple trees! Come and learn the history of maple syruping, how to identify maple trees this time of year, and a bit of a maple syruping 101 so you can start this fun tradition at your own home!  An evening of delicious nibbles and expanding your knowledge.  Appetizers and refreshments from 5-6pm, program from 6-7pm.  Pre-registration required by 3/7.  Program held at Camp Jorn YMCA.  Thursday, 5-7pm.  $13($10 members).

To get to get to Camp Jorn, take Highway 51 and turn onto Highway W.  After about a mile on Highway W (just past the Discovery Center), turn right on Highway K.  Go almost a mile, and turn right on Red Feather Road.  Camp Jorn is on the righthand side of Red Feather Road just after you turn.
