Nibbles N' Knowledge: A Northwoods Winter Almanac by John Bates

Every species has adopted its own path to surviving winter in the Northwoods.  While it may seem very quiet out there, there's actually a lot going on, and most of it is truly remarkable.  Come explore some of these stories told by naturalist and author John Bates and expect to be amazed.  An evening of delicious nibbles and expanding your knowledge.  Appetizers and refreshments from 5-6pm, program from 6-7pm. Pre-registration required by 1/12. Program held at Camp Jorn YMCA. Thursday, 5-7pm. $13 ($10 members).

To get to get to Camp Jorn, take Highway 51 and turn onto Highway W.  After about a mile on Highway W (just past the Discovery Center), turn right on Highway K.  Go almost a mile, and turn right on Red Feather Road.  Camp Jorn is on the righthand side of Red Feather Road just after you turn.
