Porcupine Mountains Old Growth Hemlock and Waterfall Tour

The Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park is home to the largest virgin stand of hardwood-hemlock forest in the United States.  With your naturalist guide you will hike deep into the heart of this enchanting forest and eat lunch on the shore of Lake Superior.  Then explore the breathtaking waterfalls while learning about the geologic history that formed this unique area. Hiking distance 6-8 miles including several stairs to view waterfalls. Bring a sack lunch and water.  Transportation included.  Please register by 9/10. $30 ($25 members).
