Description
Long before the Napa Valley came to prominence, in the two decades before the Civil War, Cincinnati was America’s wine-growing capital. At the helm of wine production was an eccentric millionaire, Nicholas Longworth—for a time the second-richest man in America. Dr. Erica Hannickel will deliver a lecture about him and other little-known American wine stories, debunk a few wine myths, and outline some of the features of today’s Midwestern wine renaissance.
An evening of delicious nibbles and expanding your knowledge. Cash bar and complimentary appetizers from 5-6pm, program from 6-7pm. Hosted monthly in the Discovery Center's Main Lodge. $13 ($10 members).
We are in need of people to bring Appetizers (anything from potato salad and deviled eggs to cheese plates and dips!) to this Nibbles, CLICK HERE, to sign up to bring a dish! Many thanks in advance!
