Summary

Join us as we launch a new citizen science project! Picture posts are permanent stations to take pictures of a landscape over time in order to monitor environmental change. These pictures provide a wealth of data that examines changes in plant phenology, water and snow levels, and even measures the growth of a tree as it adds girth. Contribute data to the new picture post program, learn how to analyze digital images with free software, and put together a picture post you can install on your own property.
