About the Keynote Speaker:
Jay Mager, an associate professor of Biological & Allied Health Sciences at Ohio Northern University, is studying the acoustic signals that Common Loons use to acquire and defend breeding territories. During his presentation he will be unraveling the mysteries of the beautiful, yet haunting calls of the Common Loon that echo across lakes in the Northwoods each summer.
Hosted by the North Lakeland Discovery Center in partnership with the Discovery Center Bird Club, Manitowish Waters Chamber of Commerce, and Presque Isle Chamber of Commerce.
