Nibbles N’ Knowledge: History of fire in the Northern Highlands of Wisconsin

Natural and human caused fires have historically played important roles in maintaining the ecological health of northern Wisconsin pine forests.  Join Jon Steigerwaldt as he discusses research findings that have helped reconstruct the frequency of fire in the Northern Highlands over the past 230 years.

An evening of delicious nibbles and expanding your knowledge. Cash bar and complimentary appetizers from 5-6pm, program from 6-7pm. Pre-registration required by 1/12.  Program held at Camp Jorn YMCA. (V)
