Description

Restoring our shorelines is one of the best ways to improve habitat for many lake-dwellers ranging from fish, to invertebrates, to turtles, to waterfowl. Our Water Program Coordinator will walk you through some of the ways you can improve your shoreline based on your goals and type of shoreline, including "fish sticks" and native gardens. This class will include a tour of the Discovery Center shoreline and restoration gardens so participants can see actual examples of shoreline habitat options. Limited spots available. Pre-registration is required by 4/26. Saturday, 10am-12pm $15 ($10 members)
