Description
Loons and their chicks will be counted on over 250 lakes in Northern Wisconsin on the morning of July 18 for the Wisconsin Loon Population Survey. Join research and monitoring staff at the Discovery Center for an early morning paddle on Clear Lake to monitor loon pairs and their new chicks, and to learn more about the ecology of this iconic Northwoods species. Transportation and canoes provided. Binoculars recommended. Please register by 7/16. $15 ($10 members).
