Top geneticists USFWS, Bob Wayne of UCLA and Steve Fain of USFWS Forensic Lab in Ashland, OR, are two of this year's highlight presenters, with many more to be announced soon.
The 2011 keynote speaker is Richard P. Thiel, Author and Natural Resource Educator for the WDNR. Thiel has been active in wolf recovery efforts since the seventies, and is author of "Timber Wolf in Wisconsin: The Death and Life of a Majestic Predator" and "Keepers of the Wolves: The Early Years of Wolf Recovery in Wisconsin."
Registration includes: Conference sessions, Wolf Stewards mug, refreshments, snacks, and meals.
