Description

Gelli Printing is a fast and fun printing technique that produces richly textured papers (and fabrics) that can be used in a variety of creative projects. Gelli plates (either the permanent commercially available kind, or the kind made from Knox Gelatin) will be used in this workshop. A variety of acrylic paints, a wide array of texture making objects and tools, different kinds of paper, and some fabric pieces, are all used during the printing process. This can get messy, so participants should dress appropriately and/or bring an old shirt or apron!

All materials and supplies are provided, but if you have a Gelli Plate of your own, please bring it, and let the Discovery Center know when you register, whether you have one, or not! Pre-registration required by 5/16/24 . Saturday, 12 PM - 4 PM. $50/Non-Member and $45/Member.
