Birding for Beginners Weekend - Terra Alta, WV 2017
Summary
Specially geared for those individuals who are new to one of America’s most popular pastimes, this weekend course will focus on birdwatching basics. Learn when and where to birdwatch, gear selection and field guide usage. Then, put your newfound skills to the test as we search for and identifying birds local to Terra Alta and surrounding areas. Binoculars and field guides will be provided. Participants are also welcome to bring their own gear. Meets at Oglebay Institute’s Mountain Nature Camp in Terra Alta, West Virginia.
Ages: 18 & up (Ages 14-17 may participate with accompanying adult.)
Meets: 6pm Friday, April 28 - 1pm Sunday, April 30
