Foster-Adoption Support Workshop
Description
A facilitated workshop for prospective parents providing tools and support around some of the more challenging aspects of family building. Our discussion and tools will be relevant to folks who are looking into fostering and adoption for family expansion and to those who are already in the fost-adopt process.
Facilitated by Dania Sacks March, MPH, PPSC, LCSW. Dania has worked for over 17 years as a community organizer, program coordinator, health educator, and mental health services provider. Currently, Dania maintains a part time private psychotherapy practice and consulting business. She is the lead trainer for the Queer and Trans Network of Alameda County, an organization centralizing the experience of LGBTQI-2S youth of color, and is part of a coalition working group for racial justice through the Jewish Community Relations Council of the East Bay. She is on her own family-building journey and is happy to be expanding her offerings to include working with folks who are going through some of the same struggles and joys of the path to parenthood.
