SF - Baby & Me: Infant Class [0-18 Months] • 10:45am-12pm
Description
Want more quality time with your little one? OFC will be hosting a weekly infant class for LGBTQ+ parents and caregivers. This parent-child interactive helps support child bonding, health, and increase your know-how about your infant's cognitive, physical, and language development!
In this week's session, learn about Parentline -- a free telehealth counseling and psychoeducation service for expectant and new parents with children under the age of three who would like support and information about a range of early parenting issues. Join Parentline founder Dhara Meghani, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist and professor at the University of San Francisco, as she provides information about Parentline's services and answers questions about topics such as coping with infant sleep, fussiness, toddler behavior and development, parental stress, and more. You may contact Parentline by phone (1-844- 415-BABY) or by e-mail (parentline@usfca.edu).
Contact Jeannette, jeannette@ourfamily.org, or call (415) 981-1960 with any questions.
We strive to make our programs accessible to all families. Please register for accommodations that would help your family participate to the fullest (e.g. ASL interpreter, translated materials, childcare providers experienced with kids with disabilities, large print materials, gluten-free food options, etc.). If registering within 48 hours of the event, please call 415-981-1960 to ensure receipt of your request.
