Too much drama, too much time on electronic devices, and too little interaction with parents. Sound familiar? Tweens and teens have notorious emotional ups and downs, but what causes them? Can parents and caregivers understand what's going on in their heads? Can we use insight about their challenges to support them better, and connect with them more effectively? Answer these questions and more, in this eye-opening session with Jessie Rose Cohen, LCSW, a Bay Area child and family therapist – and queer parent – who specializes in work with youth. |
We strive to make our programs accessible to all families. Please register for accommodations that would help your family participate to the fullest (e.g. ASL interpreter, translator, childcare providers experienced with kids with disabilities, large print materials, gluten-free food options, etc.).
