Description

A gentle walk for those who want a quiet walk along a relatively flat trail. The walks range from one to two miles in length and may include gentle changes in elevation. We have been known to stop on the way up steeper inclines to feel the mullein leaves. By popular demand, we are keeping the 20 minutes of silent walking.

Led by Sue Watts. Sue has been involved with environmental education for nearly 40 years, providing experiential workshops for the national Girl Scouts for 15 of those years.

Meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month (with some exceptions, schedule subject to change). In July and August, the group will meet at PEEC at 8:00 am. We may carpool to a trailhead. Return no later than 12:00 noon. Bring water and snack, if desired. Please, no small children or dogs. Free, but please register so we know you are coming.

There is more to life than increasing its speed.
