Take wing with PEEC at one of our special Take Wing events.  These special events are offered as thank you gifts for donations to PEEC's capital campaign of $150 or more per person registering. To register, make a donation either online or by check to PEEC's capital campaign.  Once your donation is received, you will be emailed a link to the registration page for all the Take Wing events.  The hardest part?  Choosing just one event!  Please call us at 662-0460 if you experience any trouble registering.

 

Smart HousePEEC has lined up an exclusive Take Wing tour of the Smart House in a small group, which will allow you a rare look at this 2,418 ft2 structure that pairs a solar system with a lithium-ion battery system, a heat pump storage unit, and sensors and communication equipment. Glimpse the future on this unique tour! 

The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) is a leader in environmental innovation among utility companies, including renewable power generation and smart grid development. The DPU produces over 30 percent of its electricity from renewable sources and is partnering with major international corporations, Japan's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) through the Japanese Ministry of Technology and Los Alamos National Laboratory on the development of new renewable energy battery storage technology and smart grid and smart house applications.
