Worried about bears in our trash?  The County's Environmental Services Division Manager Angelica Gurule will talk about how to keep bears alive and you safe by taking proper care of our trash.

Nature On Tap is part of the On Tap series presented by  Los Alamos cultural providers will host every Thursday.  The series is 5:30-7 p.m. at the Blue Window. Each gathering begins with a 15 minute talk followed by a group discussion.

Gurule obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of New Mexico, and holds a dual Master’s of Science in Sustainable Environmental Resources Management from the University of Malta and a Master’s of Science in Information, Science, and Technology from James Madison University. She was employed by Los Alamos National Laboratory for ten years and worked in Human Resources and the Environmental Stewardship Office where her work was dedicated to pollution prevention, sustainability, and waste reduction. Most recently, Angelica was employed with the Department of Game and Fish, contributing to the wildlife conservation
