FRIENDS OF COLONEL DENNING STATE PARK

The Friends of Colonel Denning invite you to their favorite park situated in Cumberland County at Doubling Gap (where Blue Mountain curves around on itself). Although he may not truly have been a "colonel," William Denning was a Revolutionary War-era veteran and forger of cannons. Cannon fire is silent now in the Cumberland Valley, but the Friends are active!

Get in touch with them to volunteer or become a member or make a donation in support of their efforts.

You may also mail a check to the Pennsylvania Parks & Forests Foundation for the Chapter to: PPFF, 1845 Market Street, Suite 202, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
