FRIENDS OF GREENWOOD FURNACE STATE PARK

History is the name of the game at this small but significant park tucked into the mountains of Huntingdon County. 

As you walk through the quiet remains of the furnace, it's hard to imagine the tough industrial community that flourished here in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The Friends of Greenwood Furnace are dedicated to keeping history alive here.
