Description
Join PPFF to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of M.K. (Doc) Goddard
Course: A scenic 100k from Gifford Pinchot State Park (named for another Worthy from the State Park Pantheon) to Codorus State Park (one of the 45 parks that joined the state park system under Doc's leadership) and back. Find the course at Garmin Connect.
Time: Registration and packet pick-up from 7:15 AM to 7:50 AM at Pinchot's Conewago Day Use Area; riders can begin the ride when they wish up until 8:30 AM. All cyclists must be back at Gifford Pinchot before 3:00 PM; any rider still on the course after 3:00 PM will be picked up by the SAG vehicle.
Not up for the whole 63 "metric miles"? That's easy! Feel free to ride to the first rest stop (at about 12 miles) and back for a 24-mile ride or to the second (at approximately 24 miles) and back for 48 miles.
Amenities: Refreshments at each endpoint and at two intervals along the course, SAG support, restroom facilities, free parking.
If you do not wish to register online, feel free to download and mail the entry form.
(Sponsorship opportunities also available - download and mail the sponsor form or contact Brittany Howell at the PPFF office for additional information!)
The event takes place rain or shine. There are no refunds and no shirts will be mailed. No exceptions!
