Looking Back to Move Ahead:
Exploring Our Conservation Legacy

Briefly Late or Lately Brief.

Header

Either way, it's nearly 5:00 on a Friday and this will undoubtedly land with a thud into a lot of abandoned work emails. At least I hope so! Too many days away this week (at an EarthShare orientation in Our Nation's Capitol - look for additional information on this in future issues) meant no time to even Take Five. But do! There's a lot of fun to be had this weekend, including

Pennsylvania Wilds

The Friends of Lyman Run's Stars in the Arts program on Saturday.

North

The Friends of Mount Pisgah's salute to Patriots in the Park on Saturday.

South

A last blast of summer at the beach for Kids' Play Day on Saturday at Shawnee State Park.

East

The Friends of Varden's annual Varden Conservation Day on Saturday.

West

The Friends of Ryerson Station's annual Outdoor Heritage Festival on Saturday.

Please do Take Five and go outside and enjoy. (Which might just mean sitting on a bench just like this one at Colton Point, photographed so beautifully by Bernadette Chiaramonte-Brown and shared to the Pennsylvania State Parks Facebook page). And we'll be back to something like normal NEXT week!
