Fr. James Martin S.J. will present the 2015 Chancellor’s Lecture at Regis College on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 7:30 pm in St. Joseph’s Chapel.
Who was the "Jesus of History," the man from a small town who walked the dusty landscape of first-century Palestine, and who ate, slept and drank as we do? Who was the "Christ of Faith," the Son of God, the miracle worker, and one who rose from the dead? To meet Jesus Christ, the believer needs to understand both ways of looking at him. Father James Martin, a Jesuit priest and author of the book Jesus: A Pilgrimage, will help us encounter the man who is the center of the Christian faith.
