Price:

Description

Article on comics in a university setting by Matt Upson and C. Michael Hall. The authors of this article—comics aficionados and co-creators of educational information literacy comics—assert that comics have tremendous educational power and potential which academics and educators have only begun to grasp. It is our intention to address the criticisms of comics which have caused academia to overlook comics for so long, discuss the properties of comics which make them well-suited for use in the educational and instructional settings, and to explore examples of comics‘ use in the classroom to achieve various learning goals.
