Hello family & friends! 

I'm writing to invite you to participate in Student Action with Farmworkers' Farmworker Awareness Campaign, a grassroots fundraising drive to support our work for greater respect and justice for farmworkers. 

I am excited to support this organization and I need your support to make this campaign successful. My involvement with SAF has been through my participation in the Solidaridad internship. I chose to get involve with SAF because I was intrigued by their work towards farmworkers, for previously I hadn't known of any organizations that aided farmworkers, nonetheless, be a fighting force for their unlooked-for issues. I had always wondered how the conditions a farmworker faces in the US are permissible by law, despite being problematic and detrimental due to the many things they are exposed to in order to earn a living. However, during my time at SAF, I have seen an altruistic work by a staff that is nothing but amazing and tangible, that fights to end these hazardous conditions and pave a better future for farmworkers. 

For over two decades SAF has dedicated their time and energy towards fighting these many issues, so the ones who pick our food and work restlessly may have worthy and just lives. As Thanksgiving approaches next week, take a moment to give thanks and give back.

Though SAF's resources have been limited, they have used every bit to maximize their outreach and achieve their goals. Therefore, please consider supporting this fundraiser drive (even a little will help), so that SAF may continue to progress a positive change in our community. My goal is to raise a minimum of $350 to support SAF's work educating the public about farmworkers. Please consider making a $25 or more tax-deductible contribution to support SAF.
