Grasses are a constant in my life as I moved all across the United States. Whether they be ornamental or native grasses, they remain a touchstone to me, uniting all the places I've lived. Prairie Afternoon depicts the native grasses of the Midwestern plains where I grew up. I love how they bow in the wind, creating a beautiful sea of movement. |
