My family spends part of our summer in the Wrangell St. Elias National Park where we own a hundred year old gold miner's cabin. Just outside our front door are all kinds of signs of the natural world moving and changing. Root Glacier is really the center stage for climate change. Each year, we watch it recede. There are lakes where just a decade ago there was ice.
