As a child, I watched my mother unravel old sweaters to knit trousers for me. Over the years, I realize how strings of many kinds have become an integral part of my creative life. I made jewellery from silver wires, spun wool for weaving and dyed linen threads for bobbin lace-making. With natural cotton I created needlepoint laces and embroidered with colourful threads. ▶
