10 am- 4 pm

School is out, and we've planned extra special programs for your Veteran's Day holiday! Come learn all about the creatures in our tanks, how we care for our animals, and find out what our critters eat during feeding time. Explore our maritime heritage through fun games and activities that teach about marine sanctuaries. Be an underwater detective and investigate "time capsule" clues of a shipwreck to uncover the vessel's story. Learn about the tools and techniques used by maritime archaeologists and make a sailor's valentine. See a fish dissection magnified on the big screens in our Gregg Interactive Learning Studio and, for a small additional fee, you can even dissect a squid! In addition to the scheduled programs below, the Center will be filled with activities for all ages throughout the day. Kids, you can even have your face painted for just $1.

Please note that space is limited for the 10:30am and 1:30pm squid dissection programs. Pre-registration is highly recommended. There is a $5 fee for the squid dissection program; please click on the button to the right to register for the squid dissection program.
