Monday, February 15 and 22: Go with the Flow! Ocean Currents
Join us as we learn about ocean currents and how they affect our weather and the animals that call the ocean home. What are El Nino and La Nina? Why is the Gulf Stream important to whales? How can we use math to predict changes in the currents? Come find out!

Tuesday, February 16 and 23: Ahoy Mateys!
This is a day for all you scurvy landlubbers out there who love pirates! Come listen to tales of famous pirates that sailed the seven seas and learn the pirate code. We’ll go on a treasure hunt in the park and enjoy a fun pirate program via video conference. Get in the spirit and come dressed as a pirate!

Wednesday, February 17 and 24: Cephalopod Science
Cephalopods are marine mollusks with a well-developed head, complex eyes, and a ring of sucker-bearing tentacles. Octopus, squid, cuttlefish, and the pearly nautilus are all cephalopods.  Discover what amazing adaptations help these intelligent animals thrive, and a get hands-on look at a squid!

Thursday, February 18 and 25: Winter Woods Ramble
Take a hike!... in the winter woods with us. We will search for signs of animal activity and their hidden homes, and build a cool shelter of our own to hunker down in. Find out what is special about a seaside forest for the animals that live by the coast, including us humans!

Friday, February 19 and 26: Tied to the Tide
We’ll get up close and personal with many creatures of the rocky shore by creating our own mini indoor tide pools. Outside, we’ll investigate the changing tide and create a nature journal, tied to the tide.  Join us for a fun day of intertidal discoveries!
