Daily Themes

Monday, February 17/24: Penguins and Polar Bears
Do you think forty below zero is a bit on the chilly side? Penquins and polar bears don’t seem to mind! Come learn how these amazing animals survive in such cold and snowy places, and get a change to play games in the snow as well.

Tuesday, February 18/25: Chillin' at the Pond
Discover the secrets of a winter pond. Where are the animals hiding? What clues have they left in the mud and snow? Let’s investigate! After visiting the pond, we’ll hike into the woods and build a warm shelter, from which we can spy on animals!

Wednesday, February 19/26: Ahoy Mateys!
Come to camp dressed as a pirate and we’ll give you a pirate name! Learn about the most famous pirates to sail the seven seas, and join us for a wintry hike to find a buried treasure chest. If we can locate it by using our treasure map, some booty will be yours to take home!

Thursday, February 20/27: Fantastic Fin Whales
Did you know that the second largest animal on earth is the fin whale? We can learn many things about whales by looking closely at their bones. Discover some cool facts about these amazing whales, and help us build a enormous fin whale snow sculpture.

Friday, February 21/28: Creatures of the Tidepools
Come get hands-on with many of the animals that live along our rocky coast, such as sea stars, urchins, crabs and more. We’ll set up indoor mini tide pools so that we can spend quality time getting to know these critters and then head outside for a winter walk along the shore.
