Daily Themes

Cool Camouflage!: Tuesday, March 10

Now you see it, now you don’t. Camouflage is an amazing adaptation that allows both predators and prey to remain hidden in their surroundings. We’ll learn how color and body shape help animals hide, and watch our exhibit animals in action.

Fantastic Fish: Wednesday, March 11

Come meet all the cool fish that the Center keeps on exhibit. Learn how we care for them, and watch as they are fed their lunch. Discover some of the special adaptations they have for survival, such as the ability of a puffer to inflate like a balloon! We’ll play some fun fishy games outside.
