Building the Attachment Process in Infants to Decrease Challenging Behavior in Toddler and Preschool Classroom 12.29.16 KCMO

Two of the most requested subjects for training are infants and challenging behavior. In this training we are going to approach both of these subjects as they intertwine with each other. The first three years of life determine: our mental model for relationships, our mental model of self, our foundation for the ability to attend and motivate ourselves, and the way we will self-regulate and manage stress. This session will focus on caregivers learning about their own triggers and how to control their reactions to them, how to help infants develop a secure attachment system, and structures, routines, and rituals to implement into your child care program to support healthy social-emotional development.
