Description

This is a Book Study group for seasoned teachers, upper management and mental health professionals. The group focuses on the social and emotional development of children.

This year we will be reading and discussing:

Keeping Your Child In Mind:  Overcoming Defiance, Tantrums and Other Everyday Behavior Problems by Seeing the World through Your Child’s Eyes, by Claudia M. Gold, MD

The group is facilitated by Dr. Lourdes Henares-Levy.

In addition to in-depth discussion and reflection on each chapter, the group will select a case study to review every third meeting to enhance our practical application of the book’s concepts.

Participants will receive1 state-approved training clock hour per session.

 

Dates:

The 1st Wednesday of the Month, February 2014 – December 2014

(No sessions July and August)
