Autism Speaks and Module 9 Supporting Children with Autism, Emotional Disorders & Language Delays

** NOW 5 CLOCK HOURS ** Join United 4 Children and Autism Speaks for an EXCLUSIVE Screening of "Sounding the Alarms" and training on supporting children and families living with autism. This session will begin with a screening of the documentary "Sounding the Alarm", which follows 12 family's journey living with Autism. Following the documentary, there will be a discussion and lunch will be served to guest. Beginning at 12:00, there will be a 3-clock hour training on Supporting Children with Autism, Emotional Disorders and Language Delays. After this session, you will know some specific approaches to assist children who have autism, severe disabilities, emotional disorders, and language delays. You will also learn how to support these children by adapting the environment, activities and other daily experiences. This module will enable you to provide support after a diagnosis is made.
