Reflecting on Diversity 12.13.14

This training reflects content of the book, Anti-Bias Education for Young Children and Ourselves (Louise Derman-Sparks & Julie Olsen Edwards). Ways to implement Anti-Bias Education into child care and youth development programs will be the main focus. We will look at different types of diversity including culture, race, abilities, age and gender. Through reflection, discussion, and small group activities the participants of this training will understand and be able to begin implementation of Anti-Bias Education.
