Hi friends!

My name is Grey Price and I'm a Junior at the University of Alabama. I am so excited to embark on the adventure that is being a 2016 Sozo Children Intern. You might be asking yourself, "what does this mean?" Being a 2016 Sozo Intern means that I will be spending over two months in Uganda this upcoming summer. This trip has been a prayer of mine for a few years now, and is now evidence in my life of the journey that our Father wants to take us on, the story He is writing for us, and the things He is willing to teach us when we put our faith in Him. During my time in Uganda, I will be serving orphaned and neglected children while investing in the surrounding communities. My responsibilities as an intern will be: discipling the Sozo Children, assisting the Ugandan staff at home, growing in relationship with others (particularly in the village community in which we'll be serving), connecting believers in the surrounding communities, working alongside Ugandans in community rehabilitation efforts, growing the local church, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, and facilitating the Sozo Children teams. 

First and foremost, I invite you to come along side me in prayer for this summer. I ask that you pray for our team - that we will be instilled with a spirit of boldness and bravery in our journey to Uganda. That we would be courageous in sharing the Gospel. That we would fully love every person we come into contact with. That we would be confident and annointed in shining the Light of Life that we just can't keep to ourselves. And that we would be ferocious in the way that we serve each other and grow in love as a family. I also ask that you pray for the beautiful people of Uganda - our brothers and sisters. Pray that their hearts be softened to the Gospel. Pray that their ears be ready to hear the Good News. And pray that their eyes be eager to see the Son. 

I also ask that you prayerfully consider giving financially. There is no amount too small - every cent is greatly appreciated and will be used for Kingdom expansion. He is a good, good father who has gone before us and made and way and I'm expectant to see His perfect plan unfold. He will do exceedingly and abundantly more than we ask for, hope for, or imagine, if only we make ourselves available and trust in Him.
