Date Changes for Yellow-billed Cuckoo Surveys
The weather this week has caused me to reschedule some of the cuckoo surveys. Please see the new dates and let me know if any of these work for you and if you would like to come out and help. The season is almost over and has been a huge success so far. I do so appreciate your help, we could not have pulled off this project with out you - Thanks!
Tuesday August 16 – Whetstones (near Benson) (we have enough people)
Wednesday August 17 - Huachucas and Canelos (NEW DATE - formerly Aug 10)
Thursday August 18 - Santa Catalinas/Rincons (north east of Tucson)
Wednesday August 31 - Huachucas (near Sierra Vista) and Canelos (near Sonoita) (NEW DATE - formerly Aug 24)
If you can help with any of these surveys please let me know by responding to this email. I also need to know if you are able and willing to drive during the survey.
I am also working on a results write up between last year and this year that I will share with all of you. If you have any picture or anecdotes that you would like to share I would love to receive them.
