Workshop: So What? Connecting Visitors to Meaning through Interpretive Exhibits

This one-day workshop focuses on ways you can make your exhibits more meaningful to your visitors through interpretation. We will examine the place of interpretation in exhibits and practice proven techniques of interpretive writing. Discussion and group activities will teach participants how to create relevance for visitors, develop memorable exhibit themes, and create hierarchies to engage visitors of all interest levels.

Date: Wednesday, June 28, 2017

Time: Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Workshop is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Where: The Bullock Texas State History Museum

 

Cost: $25. A continental breakfast and lunch are included in the cost

Parking: The entrance to the Bullock Museum's parking garage is located on 18th Street, on the south side of the Museum. The fee is $8.00 for full-day parking. Re-entry and overnight parking are not permitted. After-hours parking is free. More information about parking.

Refund Policy: Refunds will be granted for cancellations received by June 25, 2017 at midnight. No refunds after June 25, 2017.

Registration ends at midnight on June 25, 2017.
