My name is Ruby Dennis-Weber, I am a very active person who loves to run, bike, workout and spend time outdoors with my dogs. I could never imagine not being able to do all the things that I love the way that I know how to do them. A friend of mine had that realization after she suffered an accident doing one of the things she loved to do, rock climbing. Her accident resulted in her being paralyzed from a spinal cord injury, unable to live the life she was used to. Fortunately she is a fighter and has overcome many obstacles and has completed her first hand cycle marathon this past fall. I am running my second marathon, raising money for u2fp/SCIS Chicago Marathon Team. I look forward to running this marathon with a purpose.
