I am running for team u2fp/SCIS in the Chicago Marathon because my friend and patient Kathryn did a fantastic job of recruiting me for the event! I have worked for Next Steps Chicago for almost 2 years now as a PTA/LMT and I love my job and working with patients with SCI and TBI. I am inspired by my patients to work hard for them to aid them in their recovery and to work hard for myself to improve my health and wellbeing. In the past year I have gotten into endurance racing. I ran my first half marathon this spring, I have my first marathon in a couple weeks, I'll have my first half Ironman this summer and thought I may as well round out the year with a marathon in the fall! I look forward to supporting a great cause!
